Antibiotics Do Little for Inner Ear Infections

New analysis shows that antibiotics don't significantly reduce fluid buildup in young children with inner ear infections.

Whether antibiotics work for ear infections has been a matter of conjecture. But a meta-analysis of several previously published studies found that the results don't support the use of antibiotics for ear infection-associated fluid buildup.

According to lead researcher Maroeska M. Rovers, “Due to the marginal effect and the known negative effects of prescribing antibiotics ... we do not recommend prescribing antibiotics to prevent middle ear effusion.”

Cod Liver Oil High In EPA & DHA Lemon -- 17 Fluid Ounces

You might have guessed it, I am pretty big on nutrition and alternative medicine.

I would have to say that over the years of research, that the children's regular multivitamin made by the synthetic stuff is more harmful than helpful to children.

I highly recommend Cod Liver Oil for children to get Vitamin A,D,E and Omega 3's (DHA,EPA,ALA)
There are several brands out there.
I give my kids 2 tablespoons per day of this stuff.
